Not sure what to say?

Meredith and Peggy
We were so sorry to hear about Pete's death. He was a generous, compassionate man who truly cared about others. His zest for living was infectious. We will always remember the wonderful times we shared with him.
It is highly doubtful that any of us will meet anyone like Pete ever again. Although this world is a little less brighter without him, we may rest assured that the next world is already full of laughter and smiles as he meets old friends and makes many...

Peggy,

i have such fond memories of Pete from our days in high school and Camp Rosary. I always smile when I think of him because he always made me laugh. I am so sorry for your loss. I so hope that he did not suffer. How did I know that he would be a Steeler fan til the end. I guess it is in our genes. Judi Formichella (nee Serafini)

I will always remember Pete as the best ever Activities Director at PHS. I sat in his office almost daily planning my current theater field trip locally and to Canada. Pete was unfailingly cheerful and patient, always reassuring me "Don't worry--it will work out"...and it always did.

My condolences to his family and those who loved him as I did.

To the wife and family of Mr. Dimperio I send my deepest condolences. Uncle Pete (as the Peabody C/O 94 called him) was one of the special ones. He was one of those teachers that didnt stop once the class ended. His office was always open to whoever needed advice on anything. I will always remember and appreciate him. He also taught my mother at Westinghouse! May God Bless you all.

Dear Mr. Dimperio, This is Brian Dallas, or as everyone at Peabody called me "BJ" Dallas. I first want to send my deepest sympathy to the wife and family of Mr.D as i called him. I just want to thank him for the time he took with me while i attended Peabody, not only was he concerned with my atheletics, he showed more concern for my academics, He would say to me "BJ" i don't care how many points you can score without the grades they don't mean squat. That was Mr.D. I would like to say it was...

I want to express my deepest sympathy to Pete's wife and his sister "Peggy". I was shocked to see his obituary in the paper. He always sent me a visitor's pass to his coaches clinic and when I didn't receive one this year I knew something was wrong. He treated my son and I like we were really important. Again, my deepest sympathy.

To the family of Pete Dimperio, I would like to add my condolences for your loss to the many voices of those touched by Pet. As another person mentioned he was the first teacher I ever called by their first name and for me one of only three in my entire life. His manner of communicating with the students, his interest in what we were doing and his encouragement to expand our horizons made it easy to call him "Pete" but with the greatest amount of respect. Even those that he did not know by...

My condolences to the Dimperio family. Dimpy as I called him was my favorite teacher, he helped me so much while I was in school. He will truly be missed by all.

Sorry to hear about Mr. Pete's passing. He was a great teacher and activities director while at Peabody. I will miss him and he will truly be missed by many.
