Not sure what to say?

The Downey and Biales families would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all of the DiPaola family. Peter DiPaola's greatest legacy is his wonderful family. May you take comfort in knowing that the love and commitment he had for you and his community are evident and will continue to live on through all of you.

I want to take this time to thank all the people who attended my father's wake and funeral this past week. The memories they shared with my siblings and me will help keep him alive in our hearts always. I especially want to thank the firemen who participated in honoring my father. It was so touching to drive by the rescue house and see men saluting a fellow firefighter. I am confident that these treasured memories will grow more precious year by year and will bring us comfort when we most...

A great firefighter and officer who will be truly missed by myself and other firefighters who had the privilege to work with him.

Grandpa-

You were loved by all of us! I am so proud of all that you accomplished in life. You taught me so much about strength and loyalty. You were deeply respected and will alway be truly missed.

Love Always- Lisa, Garvie & Maddie

Pete was a great firefighter and a person who always cared for the welfare of his men. We always had a friendly rivalry between companies when we were responding to the air port, and when we returned to the engine house a quick call was always in order, to see who preformed the best. You will be missed.

Dad's 78th birthday with daughters Patti and Carol

I worked with Pete at Engine 6 and Rescue 1. He was my driver for the First Aid and Rescue. I have many fond memories of our association. He will be missed.
