Not sure what to say?

I am now living in Florida and did not know about Peter's passing until I read this memorial. He was my lawyer for 30 years and from that relationship we became friends for 30 years, I truly admired him he was a man of integrity and class. When Peter gave that "look" you just knew you better listen to what he had to say and it was never bad advice. A class act through and through. I loved the man.

Wonderful friend I met through Glenn Gaskil. What a pleasure he was!Very
generous person. will miss him.

Peter was a great friend and mentor while I clerked for his firm, and beyond. I will miss him dearly.

My name is Anne Castiglione and I knew Peter as a classmate in a small Italian language course. It was a small close knit group that truly enjoyed each other's company. He had a delightful sense of humor and he and I had many heated political discussions as the only two liberals in the group. I just learned of his passing and am extremely saddened. I have missed our class and his company. He was an exceptional person. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

Peter was a great example of LIVING life to the fullest. He was a wonderful host at his place in Charlevoix, a great skier and always a fun member of a golf foursome. RIP Peter

Dearest Peter, we are shocked, disheartened and sad - you will always be in our happiest memories. Antonio and Sarah

I did not even know Peter was sick. This shows you what an unselfish person he was. I am so saddened by the news but feel very fortunate that this beautiful person was in my life for a short time. We talked about plans to go to Eastern Market, cook gourmet foods, and have our dogs play together. Loved our times skiing at Boyne in past winters. He lived life to the fullest. You will be missed.

Peter, your friendship meant so much to me. You were brilliant, generous, and you made a very positive impact on the world around you. I have always admired this and I will miss you tremendously.

Peter,
What a painful loss to your friends and neighbors.
You were a kind, generous giving soul who loved his family so much.
Your death has taught me that it is important to let people know how much they mean to us because death comes too fast.
Your neighbor
