Not sure what to say?

Pete was a charming and fantastic person. The Courtroom can be a tense, anxiety-filled atmosphere where everyone gets caught up in their worries. Pete could break the tensest of environments with his smile and funnily biting sarcasm and wit. It was always a relief to see him assigned to a courtroom. You knew you would get a reprieve from work with some laughter and a good story. I am glad I got to know Pete - it was a privilege and a pleasure. My sympathy to the entire Donovan family.

Pete was a friend of our daughter Shayne. He was a member of this crew who will always remember him with a smile and a good story! God Bless you and your family Biggie rest easy.

I worked with Pete for a number of years at the Brockton and Plymouth Superior Courts. I came to rely on his advice and judgment. He was a true pleasure to work with and there is no question he will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family.

Heartily sorry for your loss. I knew Pete when he worked in Brockton Superior Court for probation and I was a DA. Pete was a pleasure to work with and great with a good story and a laugh. Good man.

Pete was a steady and valued member of the Plymouth Superior Court Probation Department. I had the pleasure of working with him for years in the Brockton and Plymouth Superior Courts and could always rely on his good advice and judgment. He was respected by judges, clerks, attorneys, co-workers, and those he supervised and monitored for his fairness and dedication. He will be...

Kathy and Peter our hearts are just broken for you and your family. May Pete rest in peace. Love Joie and Vic

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Donovan and family, Pete was a close friend of our son, Michael. We saw him on numerous occasions and always looked forward to the next time. Larry loved to talk baseball with Pete. I liked to tease him about his favorite show, The Golden Girls. When Pete came to our beach he spent much of his time with Olivia and Bobby (Michael and Alex's children) playing wiffle ball with them and never seemed to mind. We will never forget him and the joy he gave all of us when he...
