Not sure what to say?

I just came from the tribute to Judge Dorsey hosted by the Connecticut Bar Association. As I listened to the stories told by many who loved him, I marveled at how many lives he touched. I served as his intern in the summer of 1996, and he singlehandedly changed the trajectory of my legal career. Our loss is heaven's gain -- rest in peace, Judge Dorsey. You are sorely missed.

Judge Dorsey was truly one of a kind. His token phrase "awwlright" found it's way into every court hearing, and many happy hours after court. I will always cherish the times that I spent in his courtroom as a Deputy U.S. Marshal. The courthouse, and the eggnog at Christmas time, will never be the same. My sincere condolences to the Dorsey family.

Judge Dorsey has always been a wise, caring and fun loving person. And his corned beef was delish! Thanks for the memories. You will be missed. Rest in peace.

Judge Dorsey was the one of the finest gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure of knowing...he always, always had a kind word...Heaven is certainly lucky to have such a one-of-a-kind gem.

I am so sorry to learn of Judge Dorsey's passing. My son clerked for the Judge for two years, during which time my son benefited from the Judge's guidance and, most importantly to me, his kind hand in friendship. Judge Dorsey's influence on my son is enduring. I honor the Judge's memory and send my heartfelt sympathy to his to his family.

My sympathy for your loss and my deepest regrets for the loss of a beautiful and just person that gave his time and himself for the service of others. He is at peace, my prayers are with the family.

Jennifer and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My deepest sympathy to all.
