Peter John Dowsett M.D.

Dr Dowsett delivered my first daughter. He was absolutely amazing! I remember him saying after my daughter was born at my first aftercare appointment that she was going to be just beautiful and pointed to one of the photos of the babies he delivered in the past after they grew up. I gave him a photo to add to his wall. And yes she is just as beautiful as he told me she would be!!! I so wish my insurance would have allowed me to have him for my 2nd daughter. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing...

I'm so glad that I was able to attend the Memorial for a shirt while today! As I said in my card, if it hadnt been for Dr. Dowsett I wouldn't be here today, or have my 2 children. I was a patient of his at Beaverton Medical Clinic in the late 60's to early '80's. God Bless him. Kay Garner Schmidt

A wonderful caring soul who will be missed by many Waverley CC friends.

As a high school classmate of Peters I have some special memories of those years. As a women, who's also lost her husband, my deepest sympathy and understanding. I actually don't like the term "lost" because they will still be ours in our hearts forever. We were blessed.

The Dowsett family have been very dear to us. Peter was a classmate and close friend of my deceased husband, Gerald Schwarz since their youth. He had such a full smile and friendly warmth about him. My deepest sympathy to Myrna Rae and the family. Much love, Nancy

As a reporter, I meet a lot of people around Portland, and on many occasions I am asked if I am related to the great Dr. Peter Dowsett. I am honored to say yes!

Ron and I send our condolences to all the family. Peter certainly was a well-loved individual with such a great personality. His contributions to life in our community will be felt for a very long time.

Dr. Dowsett delivered my daughter in 1979, and my son in 1983. He was a wonderful doctor and I am proud to have known him.
