Not sure what to say?

Peter and I spent some great time growing up during the initial time we were in the military, both New Englanders and sharing some great opportunites while serving our Country.

Peter and I were room mates from 1961-1963 in Turkey, he being from Worcester, Ma and I from the Springfield, Ma area we became fast friends, wondering why we New England boys were in the middle of Turkey. However,we both new why we were in Turkey and appeciated what we were doing and why. While many of our buddies were partying, Peter and I made good use of our time in the area, visiting the Istanbul historical sites, we were able to get leave time and went off to Athens, Crete and Rome. As...

I was in the Air Force from 1960-1964. During that time I went to Crypto School with Pete and communicated with him during my tour in Crete when he was in Turkey. The last time I saw Pete was in 1968 when I attended Crypto School again at Lackland AFB as a civilian. He was a great person with a great personality. Sorry I didn't get to spend more time with him.

I knew Pete as a teenager at South High School in Worcester MA. He taught me how to drive. A true gentleman. Sincere condolences for your loss.

Pete Dunbar was the Science Department Chairperson for a local public middle school during the 1990s. He was a very upbeat and pleasant person with boundless energy. He was also a very modest and kind person. Pete was very knowledgeable and a great educator. My deepest sympathies go out to Pete's family during this time of sorrow.

Pete was a good man. He will be missed by all that loved him from afar. Prayer to all of the family. Hugs

I am so sorry to hear that Pete passed away. He was a great man who served his country and also served his community. God bless his family in their time of grief.
