Without a doubt, the finest professional I ever worked with and as my sister's doctor he was outstanding.

There are a probably a handful physicians that have played a key role in my life as a physician and person. Dr. Peter Dunne was one of these. As young faculty member 30 years ago, I remember meeting him for the first time and wondering what to say to the Chair of neurology who had this very impressive career. Dr Dunne was a most compassionate doctor who helped my mother as she cared for her brain damaged child. He and Faith later became friends with a shared interest in music and many other things. Peter was so much more than his brilliant medical carreer. He was that rare individual that lived with gusto, had an excepcionally wide range of interests, and an open mind.
