DEAR KIM AND FAMILY:

Dear Einstein Family,

I knew Peter and Jill when we were kids stationed at Sheppard AFB, Tx. I will never forget when the Rabbi came to Col Einstein's to discuss Peter's bar mitzvah. It was Christmas time and the family actually had an aluminum Christmas tree up. Mrs. Einstein quickly hid it in the master bathroom. She also would fry bacon when I stayed over night.
I have been trying to locate Jill to see how her life turned out. Believe she is in New England area.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing, even so belatedly. He was a fine man. I know you all miss him deeply.

Dear Einstein family, I am so sad to hear of the passing of Dr. Einstein. In 1989 my husband and I had a baby girl with Down Syndrome, and she also had VSD(hole between the bottom 2 chambers of her heart). When she, her name is Bliss, was 8 1/2 months old, Dr. Einstein did her surgery. My husband was in the Navy, and we were young, and he was so kind to us! Bliss is 22 years old now, and is the joy of our life!! Many times I have thought of Dr. Einstein and thanked God that he was so...

I was shocked and saddened to learn, albeit so belatedly, that Peter is gone. I have great memories of Peter that go back to senior year in high school. He was brilliant and charming. It is wonderful to learn about his many accomplishments and contributions and to see how important he was to so many. This is not a surprise to me. Sending my heartfelt condolences to you all.

When my daughter was born in 1990 with a serious heart defect, Dr. Einstein performed surgery on her when she was just a few days old. I remember him sleeping in a chair at her bedside several nights when she was so critical. God sent Dr. Einstein to us as an angel to care for Cali. I am so saddened to hear of his death.

Dearest Kim,
I did not know your dear husband, but I remember you so well as a vibrant, energetic, and dynamic child and young woman. I knew any husband you chose would be very special. You and your family are in my heart and prayers. Your former nanny/babysitter.

We were shocked to hear today of the passing of Dr. Peter Einstein.
We knew his as a teenager and later as an accomplished doctor, a caring father and with a great sense of humor. Our heart-felt condolence to the entire family.
