What a beautiful man, inside at out. I have thought of him often over the years, I'm so sorry to he has passed. I loved him dearly.

I was lucky enough to meet Pete a number of years ago when he was moving through hip issues. Just speaking to him you felt certain that he embodied leave everything on the field. I admired his intrepid nature and his loving family that always provided safe haven. May God hold all of you in the palm of his hand.
