Not sure what to say?

If this is the same Joseph Peter Fanelli who taught family systems at Syracuse University, I really appreciated him. He made the work enjoyable. He always brought party favors to us that helped illustrate the concepts we learned. My favorite were the rose colored glasses. He said, "Take off your glasses and see the world!" He was understanding about the rigors of graduate school and would bring snacks each week for us including those that carried on his tradition of Italian food.

Hi Nancy & the Fanelli Kids:

Just discovered Peter's passing. Been so long since I have been in yours (Nancy) and Peter's spirited presence. Such a great man -- the kindest and most giving of them all. And how he finished off my own beloved father's legacy with those fireplace bellows. It really hurts to think such a beautiful person is gone. Knew you both a long time (and the kids by name) but not enough time spent with you. I hope you are well Nancy and I miss you both!

Pete, Maureen and family,
Sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad,
Prayers, condolences and peace.

Drew & Julie Wasko and family

I consider myself lucky to have met this wonderful man. What an impact he made in this world: as a father and husband, a role model, and a fine neighbor and citizen. Sending my condolences to all the Fanelli Family!

Marie, Larry, Danielle and family,
So sorry to hear about your dad/grandpa. He was a lovely man!
Thinking about you all during this difficult time.
Regards, Carol & Doug Doty

To Nancy and family,
I was so sorry to hear you lost your dear husband. While I did not meet him in person, I know he must have been a wonderful person. I enjoyed listening to you talk about him and your family when I came to spend time with you - just before you entered the nursing home.
I am sorry that I was out of town until last night, and could not come to the funeral home. But, my thoughts are with you.
You are warm and full of life woman. Please take this opportunity to...

Pete ,Maureen and family, So sorry to hear of your Dads passing. God has called home another of Endicott's finest. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Thoughts and Prayers to you all.
With Deepest Sympathy,

Bob Townsend

Mr. Fanelli was a long time friend of my family. There are many good memories of seeing Mr. Fanelli's presence throughout my childhood years growing up in Endicott. Always pleasant, always smiling. A good man, a wonderful family.
