Not sure what to say?

I extend my sincere sympathy. I had the privilege of being a secretary to Mr. Fazio for a time at the law firm of Chapman & Cutler.

I was shocked to hear about Pete's passing, particularly after having a wonderful lunch with him last month during which he charmed my wife and me with a few stories about his new apartment and his ongoing legal career.
I worked closly with Pete from the time he joined Chapman & Cutler until I retired. I have never met anyone who was more dedicated to helping people or more helpful than Pete. He had great judgment and was the best all-around lawyer I ever met and the lawyer I would want...

I work at The Mid-Day Club of which Mr. Fazio was a member. He came to the Club for lunch almost every day. I will miss his smile and wave of his hand that he always gave me.

My thoughts are with you at this most difficult time. I will always remember how Mr. Fazio would brighten my day when he would call. I will miss him.

With a heavy heart I express my
sadness at the loss of your dear
Father. His support of the
Daughters of Charity, Saint Joseph Hospital, and those of us who worked for their health
care ministry was deeply appreciated.
His friendship and his vibrant
Christian spirit will be remembered
always.

Pete was the perfect lawyer and gentleman. He knew virtually everyone at Chapman and Cutler and was beloved by all of us. Everyone, including the person who waters the plants would get acknowledged in the friendliest way by Pete.
We will miss his stories and insights. May we all be both as gifted and considerate as Pete til we reach 94.
