Not sure what to say?

Peter was my first manager when I started my career in IT. I was so lucky to have him guide me and to learn from. He loved his family with all his heart. He was the greatest role model I could have had. Rest in Peace Peter! And, thanks for all you did for me by giving me the best start possible.

It was my great privilege to know Peter Fenner, work with him on a few projects here in Portland and he is greatly missed. He was a great advocate for many issues here at South Waterfront and I got to know him as we worked together to find a nest location for the migratory Ospreys. He was always a gentleman, able to work with all people, a constructive voice, passionate, rational, professional, politically astute, and honest. I enjoyed many walks with him and Nancy around the south...

Peter was my Dad's (Skip Fenner) first cousin. They spent many childhood summers together at their grandparent's home on Long Island NY, learning to sail, which guided much of the course of their lives. May your slice of heaven include an anchor drop. You are fondly missed. My condolences to Pete's family who I did not have the good fortune to know.

Pat and I will miss Pete sorely .

My husband and I knew the Fenners in the 1950s in New Jersey and at Lehigh. Pete was an usher in our wedding. How fortuitous that all of us moved to Portland! Pete's chuckle was unique and reflected his joy in living. I last saw him (and Nancy) on July 28th. Both of them were in great spirits. What a wonderful memory!

How fortunate I am to have known Peter. He was always kind, always ready to listen and always ready to lead. His advocacy made Mirabella a better place. Thank you, Peter.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to Pete's family. I met Pete through my work at Lehigh University and over the years had the pleasure of getting to know him. Keenly intelligent, no-nonsense, adventuresome and dedicated to his family, were the traits that immediately stood out about Pete. I hope that the joyful memories offer some comfort to the family Pete treasured.

I am sorry for your loss. May prayer comfort you.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray constantly."

French philosopher Henri Emile said, "Life is short and we have not too much time to gladden the hearts of those who travel the way with us. Be swift to love, make haste to be kind."
Peter was with us at Mirabella for almost 6 years--much too short a journey. He shared his love for family, for his Nancy, for ping-pong and sailing and humor. He was kind to all of us, respecting opinions and helping us live kindly in our community. We will miss him.
