Not sure what to say?

To Peter Fiore's family,

I worked at Ascential and recently learned of your loss through colleges. I had an entry level job...even so, in the hallways or elevator, Mr. Fiore always had the time to ask how I was liking the company. He was inspiring as a leader because of this kindness and obvious sincerity. It definitely made me work harder and with more pride , knowing that he was at the helm. I will always remember his famous business sayings that he would repeat in the company...

Kim,

I just learned that Peter has passed.

Peter and I sat next to each other at the Celtics and over time I got to know your husband. He was a wonderful and lovely person that will be missed.

David Ritchie

To Pete's wife and children,

I was both shocked and saddened to hear of Pete's passing. I worked with him in the Ardent, Informix and Ascential communities, and he was a wonderful guy. He will be missed by many people to whom he was a good friend and a valued colleague.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Fiore family at this very difficult time.

Paul Collins

Dear Kim, Madison and Hannah,

Alex and I were so sad to learn of Pete's death when we arrived at Denis and Nancy's on Christmas Eve. We were lucky to have known Pete, and we send our thoughts and prayers to you all from the Netherlands.

I have lots of fun memories of Pete - the Superbowl party to which you graciously invited us just days before we moved, out on the boat in NH, having a laugh at a gathering at Denis' place.

With heartfelt sympathy,

dear Fiore Family, I've never had the pleasure of meeting Peter. But, I work with his sister Judy. My deepest sympathys to the entire family at the loss of a wonderful man. Love Kelly Bertrand

Dear Kim,

Through business associates I learned of Pete's illness and now his passing. My heart aches for you and your girls at the loss of your one true love. I'll never forget your Halloween night wedding. Your love will remain until you meet again. Lovely to run in to you a couple of years ago in Westford. Your ever strong and cheerful ways will hold you and your girls strong and steady on this next journey.

Fondly,

To Evelyn, Kim and all the Fiore family,

My sympathies to all of you. I was deeply saddened to learn of Pete's passing today. He was a great guy, who was the class behind me at Canastota high school. We later ran into each other occasionally in Boston and he always had a presence that inspired. He's someone who will always be remembered.

Dear Kim and family, My deepest sympathies to you on the loss of a great guy, larger than life. I roomed with Pete in our gigantic Harvard Mather House suite. Many times during my car-less undergrad years Pete would graciously chauffeur me, and then my sister Pam (going to Wellesley) back and forth from Boston to upstate NY. The number of times he made us laugh till we cried on those trips, and in the dining hall of Mather House, I've lost count. When I think of Pete, I involuntarily smile. I...

Pete was a great leader and my CEO at Ascential, IBM and Crossbeam. He hired me once at Ascential and we had last year a wonderful evening and great fun in Munich, when I had the luck to host him with other friends at the Octoberfest in Munich. I will miss him. I wish his family strength. Muki and my thoughts are with you.
