Not sure what to say?

I remember shoveling your sidewalk.Sometimes you didnt even know when I shoveled it. I know how much you miss winkie and merlin and we hope merlin finds a good home. We have winkie at our house now. Winkie seems to like us a lot and we like him. We all miss you very much. LOVE NICK QUINN

I also worked with Pete at Outdoor World and remember him as a very funny guy, who also was vulnerable and sensitive. Rest in peace. Love

Pete and I shared happy times and sad times together. We helped each other get through some very rough times in our lives which created a bond that will never be broken. We also laughed alot and drank alot of tea together. Pete was a loving, caring friend who will be missed terribly. See you in the next life Pete where we'll continue our radio talk show. Love Donna @ Winkie

Though we grew up a block away from each other, I didn’t really get to know Pete until we worked together at the Seipsville Rib House in the mid 1970’s. We became good friends. We spent time together doing what young, single men in their 20’s do. Pete shared his Bear Mountain Picnic list with me. He taught me what it meant to “work under water”. We rode to work together for about five years. We listened to WIP. We talked about sports and people and life; sometimes we traveled in a...

My cousin,Pete, was a wonderful guy whom I knew, but would have loved to have known better if I could have. Someone like Pete only comes along once in a lifetime, and I will miss him very much.

I have many memories of Pete. Before I recount them, I'd like to share a response from my son, Jonathan upon hearing of Pete's passing. It follows...

Dad,
I truly wish I had known Pete at an older age. My memories of him are limited however. As you said it was Pete who helped us find common ground playing Nintendo video games when I was very young. Zelda, Final Fantasy, Tetras, many of my favorite games to this day will always remind me of him.

I’ll always remember...

Pete was one of the funniest and most intelligent people I ever worked with. The four years I knew him produced many humorous memories. My brother and I still make fond references to "Pete Fleck from Outdoor Worrrrld!", and his disarming laugh and quick wit.

Rest his soul. He was a good man.

Absolute one of a kind. I will miss him. One of the gentlest individuals I've ever known...

To Pete's friends: It is sometimes hard to believe such a sweet, kind person was in our lives..... To quote Alden: We thaught that love would last for ever, but we were wrong.
