Peter - You and I were acquaintances during your sojourn through Friends Meeting of Washington (Quakers) so many years ago. Your gentle loving spirit added to the Light, though an inner sadness was never far from view. Your early death is such a loss to the world, which yearns for seekers who care deeply for others.

Dear Pete, The earth could not hold your gentle soul and I will always miss you here. My life is better for knowing you and I know you touched many others as well. Thank you for sharing so much with me.

I am so sorry to learn of Peter's death. I was a friend when I was a Friend at FMW in the early 1990s. His kind, gentle presence was a sincerely appreciated. Although I hadn't the fortune to see him in more than 2 decades, I still remember him fondly. In particular, I always think of him when I see a Toyota, recalling his "Yota" licence plate. Sad I am for his loss.

Dearest Peter, Such a gentle, kind and caring soul. Those loud rumblings I've been hearing high in the sky must be coming from your jolly reunion with Mal. God bless you and keep you, sweet man.

Dear Peter......We have many fond memories of him and are deeply grieved to hear of his passing. He was such a support to our family when our Kurt died eight years ago in April, as well as in the intervening years. We remember him singing with us around the piano the Thanksgiving he spent with our extended family. And we especially recall times together at Chautauqua - sitting on the porch, riding on the old steamboat, listening to the symphony, sharing meals. We are grateful that our son Erik introduced him to us and that he has been a part of our lives.

Peter, we will never be able to fill the void that you have left in our lives. We have been together through the good times and the sad times. You have visited us in Wisconsin and at the Sacred Grove, shared dinners in DC, been to family weddings and other celebrations. You were family to us. We loved you so much.
