My sincere condolences to Peter's family. In my early career at HACC, he was a great mentor and math colleague. He had great passion and insights in math educating students. He was a strong voice in the math department and at the College. He held various positions at the PSMATYC organization in the 80s and 90s, promoting mathematics and mentoring young math professionals across the State of PA. I am grateful to have met Pete during my professional journey at HACC.

Mr. Foltz was my math professor many years ago. I have never forgotten him.
I had no confidence in my math abilities, but he did. He convinced me to take an advanced course, told me he thought I could handle it, and I did. I am saddened to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to your family.

My sincere condolences to Peter's family. I knew him and worked closely with him at times in our committee work at HACC. He was to me a quiet gentle man with a sense of humor that was more clever than most.
