Not sure what to say?

Pete and I were close friends and business associates for almost 30 years. I remember the day that we were introduced to each other by Andy Kramer at the Coronet Restaurant. Andy told us that we had a lot in common and Andy was right. Many were the days that Pete and I went jogging or bicycle riding together. I can't believe that he got me to run in the Great Race. Pete was fondly referred to by my family as "Uncle Pete." Pete was a good man. He was kind, generous to a fault, and a hard...

I was very sad to learn of Pete's sudden passing. He was a fine, scholarly man and I will greatly miss hearing his cheerful voice and words of wit and wisdom about life and the law. Monica Baturin

Pete was always a kind man and a good friend. I will miss him very much, as will my colleagues.

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.....
I am certain you will have many treasures. Peter was a customer at my shop and during his caring choices of so very many gifts for relatives and friends, he shared stories and words of sincere pride and affection for his family.

Pete will be greatly missed at the Dauphin County Court House. He was always in a good mood. He came in at all hours of the night and on weekends to use the library. The security staff will miss him greatly. We will keep his family in our prayers.

I was very saddened to hear of the loss of Pete Foster. I had occasion to litigate against Mr. Foster in what was to be one of his final court appearances. He was a respectable gentleman to the end. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Peter was very generous. He shared his family's vacation home at Deep Creek Lake and the old homestead at Paw Paw, W. Virginia as a staging area for hikes, canoe trips and white water rafting. He never showed up for dinner without presents for our kids, or a goose he shot to augment dinner. One time, we asked guests invited to a picnic at our house if anyone had a volley ball net. Pete said he had one. Pete bought a brand new one and gave it to us! We enjoyed many adventures with Pete...

This is a painful loss for me.

I met Pete in the seventies, when he still lived in Pittsburgh. I did not know him all that well then. However, in October of 1988, I looked him up during a Harrisburg trip; he became a beloved friend. Typically, I make two to four Harrisburg trips a year; dinner with him was a ritual on those trips.

Sometimes we did some bike riding along the Susquehanna riverfront path; he kept his late father’s bike around so he would have an extra...

My prayers and deepest condolences to Pete's family. He was a very giving and thoughtful man, and he will certainly be missed within the community of Harrisburrg.
