Peter M. Galati, 52, of Lemont, passed away Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008 at his home. He was Born in Joliet on January 14, 1956, the third of four children. He was Baptized at St. Michael's Evangelical and Reformed Church in West Chicago by his uncle Rev. Trent Rockwell. He attended Sunday School at Lemont United Methodist Church where he was confirmed by Rev. Don Leo. Peter was a graduate of Lemont Community Consolidated School and Lemont Township High School. Peter's principle interests were in his family, in building guitars, and in caring for his dogs and cats. Survived by his father Michael Bernard Galati; a sister, Anna Marie Logsdon; two brothers, Anthony Kenneth and Joseph Steven Galati; three nieces, Rebecca Logsdon Derry, Tina Galati, and Linda Galati; and a nephew, Anthony Galati. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jeanne Kelsey Galati. Lying in state Wednesday, March 26, 2008, 11 a.m. until time of Services at 12 Noon, at the Lemont United Methodist Church, 25 W. I'm so sorry to hear about Pete. He was always a gentleman and a scholar on the TDPRI. He will be missed.

I met Pete over the TDPRI forum. Everyone will miss him. My condolences to the family.

Pete will be missed over at the Seymour Duncan Forum. Always full of good words and solid advice, he was a welcome member.

Never met Pete in person but enjoyed reading his comments on the Seymour Duncan Forum.
