I didn't have the opportunity to work for Archbishop Gerety but I knew him for many years. He was a beautiful looking man with a great smile. He was kind and if he past through a room no one was overlooked. May he continue his good works in heaven. I still have a beautiful letter he sent me when my mother died. Rest in peace Dear heart.
