Not sure what to say?

I worked with Peter at Discount Records in Menlo Park, mid-1970s. He introduced me (mostly a jazz guy) to Nick Drake and Jess Roden, both of whom I still listen to, and for that I'll always remember Peter. I was thinking of him a few months ago and came across this, almost three years after the fact.

As I wrote before, Peter and I were good friends growing up. Through our relationship I got to experience his wonderful personal qualities. I am a better person for having known him.

I was lucky to be a friend of Peter's as we grew up in the Sunset District. We met in first grade at Jefferson Elementary and continued through Hoover, Lowell, and SF State. Spent many days after school playing in Golden Gate Park or at Sunset Playground. He was a very kind guy, and I never heard him say an ill word about anyone. Though we lost touch after college, I still hold him dear in my memory as one of my guides growing up.

I first knew Peter at Hoover Jr. High and then Lowell High. While he wasnt a close friend, I always knew he was one of the nice boys. I never knew him to be rude or disrespectful, nor to be a trouble-maker in school! He was always just a good kid! Im sure he will be missed by his family, friends and colleagues!

So sorry to hear this news....... Peter was a wonderful person who was a total music enthusiast, runner, animal lover and avid reader. I met him and his wife Sally through a friend and was their hairstylist for over 15 years. I know Peter was struggling with his Parkinsons and he had declined in the last year. He and his great head of hair will be truly missed. I know he's looking down on us reunited with Sally, his brother, parents and all his four legged companions. May he rest in peace♥

Peter was my boss for the 9 years I worked in the Turner San Francisco office. He was a wonderful boss and I have many fond memories of being part of the SF team at Turner during the nineties. Peter always ran along The Embarcadero at lunch when he wasnt travelling. I loved that. He was always kind, funny, cared about doing a great job, but never carried himself like an uptight stressed out boss. He will be missed.

my condolences. I first met Peter in the 80s or 90s when we both worked at Turner Broadcasting. We met again years later in San Francisco when he was working for Goodwill. I will remember him as a good man. My condolences to the family
