Not sure what to say?

As a young kid in the Bronx, I first met Pete, who was an assistant Scout Master of my troop, in the Boy Scouts at Visitation Parish.later on we reunited, he was in Manhattan College and I was in Manhattan Prep, coincidentally, we both worked part time after school at the local Safeway Supermarket, have fond memories of those days, May he rest in Peace Jack Sullivan Kingsbridge, The Bronx

He was a pivotal point in the Charismatic Movement in Alaska! Many not even of the Catholic faith were blessed by him including myself! He is missed but in a way better place living on with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ!

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

The Sisters of the Presentation of Watervliet, NY send our prayers to the Diocese of Juneau and to the people of God.
We had the honor of working with Father Peter in the Diocese during the 70's and 80's. Our lives have been blessed to have had this experience of working with Father Peter.
We will be with you in Spirit and prayer as you go through these days.
May he rest in peace.
Rev, Mother Louise and the Sisters of the Presentation

How do you say good-bye to the Father of your spiritual life? I just don't know. From the time you married my parents, baptized me, my sister and brother, married my sister and her husband and just recently renewed their vows. You have been there. It brings a tear to my eyes. But I know it is what you worked so hard for all those many years. Thank you for being a part of my life. Rest now, your work on earth is done.

I first met Father Gorges over four years ago, and had the pleasure to get to know him better on a trip to Ireland with the Grants. He was a gracious, patient, very kind man. I am happy to have known him. Rest in peace.

I went to an early morning sunrise Easter gathering in Juneau at the Cross in Evergreen cemetery April 6, 1980. Father Gorges was so blessed by the Lord and able to reach your heart as if God himself touched you! Truly gifted of the Holy Spirit! May you Rest In Peace for all eternity with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

A wonderful first cousin who always remembered and visited his cousins regularly in Sandusky' Ohio, his mother's hometown. Always a smile, a hug, and laughter, Peter leaves a hole in our lives and will be missed.
His red headed cousin, Judy Corso, husband Jim, and family ❤

As a priest the role of confessor has had the most significance to him, Part of being a confessor is letting people know that they made a mistake and that the Lord forgives themand have the weight lifted from them. He continued saying that if you ask any priest they'll say it's a wonderful sacrament, It could be a one liner or 10 minutesit gives someone who's in distress the light of the Lord in their life.

Father Peter gave me a light in my dark and sinful life. And I will be...
