Dr. Grandell set the bar pretty high for all to follow. He was a terrific teacher and even though I never took Spanish he would talk to you took interest in every student at WHS. I was also fortunate enough to talk to Dr. Grandell during a football game at Charter on Pete Grandell Field. I was the referee on a game that he was the honoray captain. He had not lost his sense of humor. Even then he was interested in what I was doing how everything was. What a great example for all to...
