Dr. Gunderson was a wonderful (and eccentric) man. I was working at Long Beach Community Hospital when I met him. I was so grateful for his help when we really needed it.

I was so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. He was a great friend and a very bright, caring resident physician when I worked with him at Metro General Hospital in Cleveland.

I had lost contact with Peter the last few years but thought of him often as we were good friends when we were at Harvard together and many rears after. I hope his later years were good and happy.
