Not sure what to say?

Dear Mr and Mrs. Haas,
Our sympathy is extended to you and your family at this difficult time in your lives. We are all saddened for each of you. I had wanted to send a card but do not have your address. Please know that our thoughts and prayers continue to be with each of you. Your son Peter was a brilliant young man and I am so sorry to know he had been ill for so long. We have many good memories of the Indian Trail days with your family, mostly the younger ones. Our sympathy to...

As I look through the pictures of my family, so many of my favorites are those Petey took(especially the Russian Easter "Jump Pictures"). Those pictues will always be special to my family because of the wonderful and kind person Petey was. His happiness was contagious.

Growing up next door to Peter I always knew he had a certain specialness and wisdom about him that I truly admired. I have no doubt his specialness will transend his physical life and live forever.

Dear Pete,
I know you'll get this message somehow. Thanks for being a kind and giving person, for being quick with a joke and a smile, for never letting on how difficult your battle was. You are an extraordinary person and I'm proud to know you.....Paul.

Pete will be missed.
Somehow I think he'll find a way to get out of it all and show up with a million dollars in his hand. If there's a way to cheat death, Pete will find it.
Adios my friend.

I met Pete many years ago through my good friend Steve Dubetz. He somehow always had a smile on his face when I saw him...even though he was constantly struggling with his unfortunate health problems. I will always remember that smile!

Pete was a real giver with a huge, soft heart. I am honored to have been his friend.

My deepest sympathy at this time of loss. Although Pete was more a friend of my parents', he made an impression on my life.

Our prayers are with you, the Haas family. I have many great memories of our childhood growing up together. Blessings, Mary, PAddy and Padraigin
