Sending love to the family

Noreen, I do miss Peter's professional care and pray that you have found comfort in many wonderful memories to think on. Best to you, Kay Claiborn

Dear Noreen,
I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Pete. So sorry I have been so out of
touch, since our Manhattan College days. He was a fine athlete, and a Bishop Loughlin hall of fame athlete as a shot putter. And a superb doctor.
He is in my prayers. I always admired his kindness and gentle ways.He was one of the "Lou
Men", shot putters at Manhattan. See you sometime in the future Lou.

Sincere apologies for the delay in sending my condolences. I just received the 8/1 letter concerning the closing of the practice. I haven't been in for an appointment for some time. Learning of Dr. Haffner's passing was quite a shock to me. Dr. Haffner always struck me as a man of great vitality. The joy he took in caring for and about his patients was truly evident in the manner in which he treated them. As one of his patients, I always had great confidence in his care, because, he was...

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the Haffner family on the loss of this good man. My father, who was a musician, was very fond of Peter because he played an instrument. He spoke about him so frequently that I chose him for my eye physician. I'd like to think they are playing together right now.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss...I will miss Dr Haffner very much. I looked forward to seeing him. He was special to me and all his patients.

bruce and I were so sorry to hear about the passing of dr.haffner--we were a patient of his for at least 25 years and will miss him.

Dear Mrs. Haffner, my husband and I were patients of your husband for many years. We were so saddened to hear of his sudden passing. At each appointment he was always pleasant, caring, jovial, interested in our latest happenings. He was truly genuine never rushed us out the door like so many other physicians that seem like their running a race. I can't imagine how heartbreaking this is to you and your family. He will be sorely missed by so many. His staff is so wonderful,he was fortunate to...

Dear Noreen and Family:
I am so very saddened to learn this. Dr. Haffner was a genuinely sincere, kind and humorous physician. I enjoyed my annual visits to his medical offices to catch up on family, get a clean bill of health and exchange some witty anecdotes.... Tragic. In the truest Jesuit Tradition he led a life of service to others. Indeed, my life has been enhanced by his very presence in it. May his love for you comfort you in the days and weeks ahead.
Sincerely,
