Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Peter and I'm so sorry!!
Please know that you are in my thoughts & prayers.
Know that I am here if you need me any time at all, peter and i were great friends.
Words can never express the loss so many people feel, especially your family at this time. The thoughts, prayers and love of many people here in Auburn are directed your way.
What a a wonderful person he was who always took the time for others. Always a great smile and a firm handshake and a...

Uncle Peter was a great brother to my father and the two complimented each other with their respective strengths. I'm saddened to think I won't call his home number and hear a reminder about the shooting stars or another interesting fact of the day on his answering machine. I will miss him very much.

I just want to say how sad and sorry I am that Uncle Peter passed away so suddenly and so young. I will miss him and always remember how nice he was to me. My deepest condolences to all the family.

I was devastated to hear of Peter’s sudden passing. Only a year ago he was supporting my father and his brother Stephen in his losing battle with stomach cancer. He would visit Stephen at Strong, read to him and bring him the paper. He was uniquely Peter, irreplaceable and unforgettable in so many ways.

I first got to know Peter when I worked for him at Fingerlakes VW in Geneva NY. I have fond memories of that time in my life. What struck me most about Peter was his enthusiasm for everything in life he touched. He was always on the go and full of new ideas. He also hired the man I married and have been married to for almost 33 years now, so I guess he was responsible for MANY happy years in my life. Although I haven't seen him in many years,I will never forget him.

To Nathan, Derek, Bonnie, Sarah and Joan, I offer my deepest condolences. I had only recently reconnected with Peter after leaving Rochester some years ago. My memories of Peter, Peter McGraw, and Greg Sharf are some of the really wonderful memories of my youth. For many years we did everything together. Everyone who knew Peter knew how special he was and we will all feel a loss knowing he is not with us any more.

I was professionally involved with Peter on and off for close to 15 years as a client, team mate, co-worker and fellow cheerleader for Rochester.
He did in deed love Rochester and was extreemly devoted to our community and the Visitor Industry. His unique and often "old-style" salesmanship and networking will be missed. Rest in Peace Peter.
Fondly,
Michael
P.S. Thank you for your enthusiasm for life, church and our tourism efforts!

My condolences to Peter's family. What a special man Peter was...so full of warmth and humor, intelligence, strength and caring. Peter will be missed by many, and I consider myself fortunate to have been his friend.

to the sons and family of Peter Hahn,
since i heard Peter died i am struck by how distinct a person he is and remains to people. peter had a warmth you feel after he is gone.
i celebrate peter for giving his time and friendship to my husband, chuck, who has early dementia in his 50s. peter would come over to our house, sit with chuck, take chuck on a walk, to mass, to breakfast, or somewhere special. they would interact, look at art books. peter was patient and kind and giving of...
