Not sure what to say?

Judy, I am sorry to hear about Peter's passing. I will always remember seeing Him at the Fairs showing Sheep.

We just heard about Pete's passing, we are so sorry! We are so fortunate to have lived right down the road and known the whole family for so many years.
Our deepest sympathy
Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
The Slonka Family

I had the pleasure of working with Pete for most of my 35 years at channel 40. In a hectic business, he always did his job well and often had a calming influence on others when things didn't go as planned. He was fun to be with and had a great sense of humor. I have often borrowed some of his colorful sayings to get a laugh for myself. Though we had little contact after I retired, I thought about him often. I guess that's because I admire the way Pete led his life and knowing he was in this...

Judy and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Although it has been many years since I've seen you, I remember what a kind and gentle man Pete was. I'm sure he is with God, taking care of all the sheep in Heaven. All were truly blessed to know him. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dear Judy, I hope you and your family achieve some measure of comfort from the words you yourselves have written in Peter's touching obituary. I had no real concept of his achievements.

Please accept my sincere condolences, and my appreciation for your kind words. It was an honor to know and care for him--and you.

To the Immediate Family of Pete and to all those in his "work" Family....Another "Pete" is is just in shock to hear that a good man is gone. He was a friend at work and someone who calmly always had the answer you were looking for... I am going to miss stopping by the old station and seeing Pete around...

Dear Judy, What a beautiful tribute to Pete and your whole family. Peter was a gentle giant. I've never know him to complain about anything. Your grandsons will follow in his giant footsteps. Love, Kathy E.

I worked with Pete at WGGB in the late 80's and early 90's. He had a kind heart an a gentle smile, just a wonderful human being, he will be missed.

Dear Judy, and all the family,
Pete was literally (and I've never said this of anyone) one of the finest human beings I've ever known. In the 23 years I had the privilege of working with him, 17 of those years in the same crew, I learned more about honorableness, kindness, competence, and authenticity, than from anyone before or since. Pete also taught me how to, and the value of, taking full responsibility for my actions, a lesson I'll never forget.
Lastly, he talked...
