Deepest condolances to the Haskell family now and through-out the sad times ahead.
I sure do remember when Peter came to Brewster Elementary. Every year I think about him on May 18th. Why his birthday stuck with me I don`t know. He was a funny and gentle soul. Be free, Pete.

To Peter's immediate and extended families my condolences.
I had the good fortune to have known him close and most of you all too. I will always have good memories of our times together as they were set in childhood through adulthood.
My very earliest memories were of his first day at Orleans Elementary where he had moved from Brewster I believe. He had such a difficult time but soon fit right in.
I also have fond memories of Rossilla Rd., where Pete, Tina would be lookout for the underaged smokers. I think at the time all this was going on Pete was singing to the top of his lungs to "Baby It's You" by "Smith".
Pete I will truly miss you
Rock On!!!!

I was deeply saddened about the news of Peter's passing. He was a gentile man with a beautiful soul. He was a very close friend to my Brother, Billy who passed way 22 years ago. He sat behind me at his service and cried and cried..
The last time I saw him was at Cumberland Farms in Orleans. I went in for something (I live in Vermont and am not at the store often if you know what I mean!) and there he was..he gave me the kind of hug you get from big love..something like family, tho, that's if you are lucky. This was a friend family hug. Finest kind.
After my brother, Billy had passed, he called me, my mom and my sister to make sure we were doing ok. He did this many times over the next year..we were living out of state..and it was so nice to get his calls..
I know you've had a rough life in ways, Peter..So did Billy.
I don't know how it works, but I hope he was there to help you on the other side..you two had such a bond.
I love you Peter...see you again someday..God Bless..Linda

I will never forget the many many great times we shared...as a young girl I looked up to you as part of my family ...through my teens you taught me about good soulful music...and you always had kind words to somehow always make me feel better when I needed it most...
so many things will remind me of you for the rest of my days...your eyes your smile of course your coke bottle glasses and that gorgeous main of hair!!!... I love you uncle Peter and you will always be in my heart ....you were one of a kind .......xo

Peter and I always laughed at the same things, in our youth and along the way to today, ourselves. Growing up here, traversing the railroad tracks into town as our main thoroughfare is a fond memory. What we did and how we laughed together at life remains forever in my growing heart as precious, unmatched, and everlasting.
My love and blessings to his real brothers and sisters, and to all who considered him like old family.

To the Haskell Family: I am so very sad to hear of Peter's death. I was very fond of Peter, and every time I ran into him he brought back many good memories of times past. I lost my youngest brother, Joe ten years ago. It is so hard to endure such a loss. My sympathy is with all of you. God bless you Peter.

Although I haven't seen Peter in many years, He was a friend to me growing up on Cape Cod. I have alot of fond and funny memories of him in our wild and crazy days in the 80's and 90's. I heard this sad news Sunday morning and have felt a great sense of loss since then. Having just lost my younger brother in February ,I know all too well what your family is going through. May the memories heal your hearts and your sorrows. God Bless you Peter. May you always rest in peace xoxo
