Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Peter´s passing through a random search of the internet, and am quite saddened by the news. I was Peter´s partner at Fine Print and sometimes think of our time working at the bookstore and some of the truly enjoyable conversations we had. Peter, Lee, Roger and I jumped head first into the retail book business knowing more about books than business but we made a go of it. Peter worked hard at the store, often bringing work home, or to the Mousetrap. He as a great guy, a...

Apologies on behalf of the Monday Night group for missing the memorial. Most of us are a bit nervous about any gathering in the pandemic, but I actually tried to make it by bus this morning, but I fouled it all up and could not make it. I've never had a car (or a driver's license, for that matter), so I am bus-dependant. Met Pete at UVA several years ago through another friend and, though I didn't get to know him as well as some, always valued his friendship. Just a nice, easy going guy. I will miss hearing his views and insights on current politics - always learned something from talking with him. Yes, the obituary here is a wonderful tribute to Pete.

Alluring Elegance Bouquet

I remember all the above. He was a good friend of mine; we shared the same memories of New York City radio, and certainly collaborated on the Palisades Amusement Park ads a capella in a booth at the old Virginian.
