He was a terrific actor! I especially loved him in M*A*S*H and The Dick Van Dyke Show. Not only versatile but he seemed to be quite a nice guy. He will live forever in his roles!

I was greatly saddened to learn of the passing of M. Peter Hobbs. I appreciated him very much through various films and TV series.I recently found he was born in France, in Etretat, where I have lived for years. I wrote him letters and he phoned me up. I then discovered M. Hobbs was a very friendly, modest man, busy and happy to live in spite of sight troubles. I'll never forget him. The town of Etretat too will never forget...

I was greatly saddened to learn of the passing of M. Peter Hobbs. I appreciatted him very much through various films and TV series.I recently found he was born in France, in Etretat, where I have lived for years. I wrote him letters and he phoned me up. I remember Peter when he lived in Brooklyn at 108 Pierpont St. We lived downstairs and as I grew up I would always watch for him on TV. He was a fine actor and a fine man and will be missed.

I remember watching Mr. Hobbs in many tv series including Gomer Pyle, Happy Days, Barney Miller and many others. He was a wonderful actor and will be missed very much.
