Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Peter's long illness and death. I remember him as one of my brightest fifth grade students. Many years after being in my class he visited me while on vacation in San Francisco, where I was living at the time. It is strange that I should get this news of his untimely passing just a few days after completing my autobiography in which I include a copy of a thank you note from Phyllis and Zander for being an inspiring teacher. With eager students like Peter it wasn't...

Peter was a wonderful, bright, engaged fifth grade student who I last saw when he visited me on a visit to San Francisco many years ago. I am so sorry to hear of his long illness and untimely death. Oddly enough, I have just completed writing my autobiography after recently turning 86. I have included in this autobiography a copy of the letter the Hollanders sent me in appreciation of my teaching. I don't know how you found me as I have lived in several places since leaving New York. I am...

I knew Peter in grade school on Long Island. He was a thoughtful sensitive friend, courageous and uncomplaining about his various medical challenges and gracious enough to invite to me to share his family ski house in Great Barrington. Im saddened by his passing, but glad to hear that he grew to have a productive adult life despite all the tough things he had to face. My condolences to his family, and other friends who cared for him. To his family, I happen to have old pictures of Peter from...

Peter was valued member of our team at NYU Medical Center for over five years. Not only was he a co-worker but friend. He enjoyed doing computer searchs and often signed me up for subscriptions to various publications. Ironically this past Friday I received a report from the State of NY that Pete thought I would enjoy. His sense of humor was great and comments always appropriate. We miss Peter every day, but celebrate the luck that let us know him.

I was very saddened to hear about Peter's untimely death. He and myself were friends about twenty years ago.
I admired him for his inner strength, courage & drive despite his challenges, but more importantly, because he was just a very nice guy, as well as being a good friend.
My heartfelt condolences to his family, as well as those who knew and loved Peter.
