Not sure what to say?

I miss our yearly phone catch ups and your humor. You always managed to find your old friend. I was grateful for that.

You would never know me. I met Peter when I was 16 years old in Boca Grande and he made a point of keeping in touch throughout my married/divorced life, career and struggle with cancer as well. He was an amazing guy who adored his family and friends. I am so saddened today as I found he had passed away without that one last time of laughter on the phone. Terrific person, great voice and a truly stand up guy. I pray for you all, What an incredible loss for you all and a great gain to...

Jacque. I met him the first time and we were friends. And he loved you so we loved him. I'll pray for you guys. And remember, Black Labs rule

Jacque & Family,

Our sincere condolence to you on Peter's passing. It was quite a shock to see the email from Hawken. We always enjoyed our dealing with Peter and you. It was pleasant when he'd come over to visit us at our boat at Cedar Point. Don't really know the proper way to express how truly sorry we are. Our prayers are with you.

While I never knew Peter, growing up in Hoyt Lakes, MN I met his father Elton (for whom the mining town was named) several times. The Hoyt family was greatly admired and respected for being so prominent, yet down-to-earth. Peter obviously took after his father. I laughed out loud while reading in the obit that Peter was a lover of Black Labradors and that he was CEO of a venture named Black Lab.

May Peter rest in peace, and may his family & friends gain comfort and strength from...

Jacque,

We are so very sorry to hear about Peter. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Peter touched my life very deeply. Thank you for being so dedicated to the Sisters of the Holy Spirit and Jennings Center for Older Adults. God bless you Jacque. Spr

I will always smile when I think of Peter. He had such a great sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Deepest regards,
