Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Husting,

I've just learned of Peter's passing today, wondering why he hadn't registered for Bike Week. Peter was such a character and I'll miss his humor. My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. Gina Morrow (Chicago)

Dear Husting Family,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I will never forget the passion Uncle Peter had for the advertising business, it was infectious! The conversations we had played a big role in my interest in this field (which I still do today). My memories of him were always of laughing (telling jokes) and being a wonderful family man. Please accept my condolences.
Lots of love to you all from far away...

I just learned of Peter's death on my birthday. We worked together on the P&G business for many years at Burnett. His caring... both his passion for the business and his interest in his colleagues... his sense of humor, and his personal balance were a combination of hallmarks that set him apart from many of his contemporaries and earned him the affection of so many of us. My sympathy to all of his family and close friends.

Our deepest sympathy to Caroline and your children. Peter and I worked together for many years at Leo Burnett and our shared memories are to numereous to mention. Not only was he the consumate "ad man", but he was funny, loyal and passionate about his work and his family. It's hard to believe that I won't awaken to funny e-mails from "tec-n-go Pedro" anymore. I'm proud to say he was my friend. He will be missed.

Dear Carolyn,

I had the pleasure of knowing Peter during his tenure on the Bernina of America board. Peter had an enormous energy level, insightful viewpoints and always forthright. I am sorry for your loss.
