I had the pleasure of having Monsieur Iosso as my French teacher at Columbia High School over 50 years ago. He taught me well and he is still one of my all time favorite teachers. My deepest condolences to his family.

I met Peter at the New Providence Senior's Club. For years, we worked together on the Tax Counselling for the Elderly Program. Peter had a good sense of humor and was a good friend.

John and Walter - thank you so much for your memories. I can clearly see his almost winking eyes when he mentioned your remarks. His memorial service is at 3pm on August 5th at New Providence Presbyterian Church followed by a reception. I hope you can visit if you're nearby.

Mr. Iosso was my homeroom teacher for three years in room 102 at Columbia High School 1958 - 1961.
I have many fond memories of him, and last saw him in the 1980's when I coordinated the Columbia High School Centennial. He still remembered me, and my "cleverly timed remarks in homeroom". [1961 CHS Mirror] We were in the lobby and I showed him the school's WWI memorial which our committee rescued and had put there. Until today, I had no idea of his ordeal during the Second World War. I had the honor of working with Peter at CHS and will never forget his devotion to his students. The world has lost a wonderful person. RIP.
