Not sure what to say?

Pete had such an unusual way of combining humor with his right-wing politics, which were in short supply at Euclid Avenue Congregational Church, where as stated above he gave so much of himself. When historians began to discover that Christopher Columbus had actually subjugated native peoples in the Caribbean, Pete did not agree. But instead of railing on about it, he said, "Maybe that's what I was doing when I was younger: conquering Alaska." Pete was a gem--a true gift from God, by my...

Whether it was his love for his church, his devotion to his father, or his need to keep busy and use his skills to help will remain unknown. But I forgot to say at this service that Pete used the old oak from the church left over after renovation to design, make, and install little envelope holders with every piece routed! for every pew in the sanctuary. What a guy!! I'll never forget the pride he took in hosting the "swim'n sing thing" when the entire church would be the guests of Pete...

many memories of the "Hill Gang" days...still have the CD music compilation Pete did for one of our class reunions...good friend, good times....

I knew Pete most of my life, having grown up on Chardonnay Hill. In high school, we were part of other group of kids who lived there, or were friends of ours from Euclid Central. I knew Pete as a kind, quiet, very intelligent person, with a great sense of humor. I´m sorry I hadn´t seen him in recent years, and know that he will be missed.

I worked with Pete at A-M ,he would go out of his way to help you! Great guy, he will be missed! My condolences to the family!

I had the pleasure of working with Pete at AM, on outside projects, then continuing on with the AMSR for 42 more years. During that time, I witnessed his skill, generosity and friendship. He is and shall be missed by many. Pete is second, from the left, in the photo from that last AMSR. As always, he was there until the work was done.

We were lucky enough to have had many fun encounters with this man whether it was at a casual gathering with friends, on a cruise, or a jaunt to Put-n-Bay. Pete was quick with his sense of humor, always made you feel welcomed, and willingness to lend a hand. He was truly one of a kind who we were lucky enough to have met and laugh with. We will forever cherish the memories.

Dear Ones, Pete was a special person. Along with repairing anything, he always brought a sincerity, kindness and a slight gruffness and so much concern for others. I have fond memories of him and Sue. Thank you for these memories. Eleanore Dees
