PETER KANE

Peter was committed to producing the MDA Telethon…and his favorite segments were the interviews with the children. Inherently he knew, “There but by the grace of god go I.”
And in the end, he did have a difficult road to travel—one every bit as difficult as those telethon kids he loved,protected and tried to find a cure for.

Compassionate in life and courageous in illness...Peter kane influenced so many people. In 25 years of friendship--I never heard him complain about anyone or...

I miss Peter. May he rest peacefully.

Peter was my friend and I've missed him dearly. I like to remember that big hearty laugh of his. We still have some of his photos in the newsroom to remind us of our friend.

Peter was an awesome friend and KTVU employee and I have missed him since he left California. We went to Stinson Beach a couple times and he was such a happy guy. I also worked alongside Peter in the control room when he was a Producer for the 10pm News and for the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon. There was no one better. I also had breakfast at his diner in Sausalito and can say he makes the best fried potatoes ever.
