Not sure what to say?

Oh no, I'm deeply grieved to just now find out about his passing! I'm so sorry for your loss, Megan and family. I went to several lectures and a workshop that his masters program brought to my college, Pacific Northwest College of Art, and they were deeply impactful to me to this day. I was extremely inspired by him and the breadth of his program- he will be missed greatly.

Looking for you, Megan, I came across this news. I am terribly sorry to hear of this great loss to your family. Our thoughts are with you and I hope we can re-connect somehow. My address is [email protected], and I am waiting for your message. Love you and think of you and Kip often.

I met Peter when I spent a semester at Fountain Valley in 1976. He played lacrosse and loved ornithology. My senior year in high school in NJ, some friends and I got a cheap trip to ski in Colorado. The snow wasn't good, so one of my friends bailed on the trip. So, Peter took his return flight from Aspen to NJ (!) and hung out with us for a week. Single Memorial Tree

I had the honor of working with Peter at PNCA from 2012-2015 when I was the Dean. I always looked forward to speaking with him because of his intelligence, humor and deep humanity. I saw firsthand his influence on students and colleagues. He was a positive model for all of us who aspire to a life of curiosity, generosity and creativity. My deepest condolences.

Kipp you with be missed by many people.....

I will always hold the fondest memories of Peter and the first collab design cohort close to my heart. Peter was and still is a big part of my development as an artist and entrepreneur. He always made me feel seen, even if I felt lost. Love you Peter. You´ll be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Very sad to hear Peter was sick and no longer able to enrich the world with his gentle, brilliant spirit. The chapter in our lives when we we´re neighbors and raising rambunctious boys together will always be a time we look back on with gratitude and joy.

I am very shocked to come across Peter´s obit. I was thinking about my PhD dissertation and pollen and I thought of Peter. He eagerly joined my committee and when I bought my microscope to dive into the cores from Rapa Nui he was there helping and telling me stories about his own time identifying pollen in a microscope. We had similar paths in ecological design and Illahee was great. I am so sorry to the family for losing him, and the pain the comes with that absence. He was way too young and...
