Not sure what to say?

Peter- you are missed! Thanks always for your faithfulness at church and your wisdom.

Just found out about the passing of Peter. My heart goes out to you. Peter served Grace Episcopal Church in Hartford as a leader in the congregation. His presence was a blessing. I have many memories of Peter there and at St. James's West Hartford, where we both grew up. I also remember performing your wedding ceremony. May he rest in Peace. I thank God for knowing Peter and your family in my life.
The Rev. Chris Rose

I remember Peter well from the two years that I worked full-time at the Trinity Library following graduation. He was always so kind and knowledgeable and was esteemed by his colleagues. I send my condolences to his family.

I remember Peter very well from the two years that I worked full-time at the Trinity library following my graduation. He was esteemed by all who knew him. I just read of his passing in the Trinity Reporter and wish to send condolences to his family.

As a regular occupant of the Trinity Library during my years as a history major, I recall seeing and visiting with Peter frequently. I also benefitted from his abundant knowledge of the use and location of primary resources in many projects and assignments. I am thankful for having known him and Trinity is fortunate to have had his professional and personal help for many years. May the Knapp family please accept my heartfelt condolences over the loss of Peter.

As a Trinity student, I worked for Mr. Knapp for three years in the Reference Department of the Library. It was a wonderful experience. Please accept my condolences.

Peter was a great friend of the College and of his classmates of which I was proud to be one. At our 40th Class Reunion, I loaned to Peter my freshman beanie--which we were all required to wear during our early days at Trinity in 1961. He was amazed that I still had it, but he was pleased to include it in the collection of library memorabilia. I hope it is still there. My sincere condolences to Peter's family and my thanks for all his years of service.

I worked in the library for 7 years after graduating in 1991. Peter was a kind colleague, and his enthusiasm for the history of the college was infectious. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

I'm sorry to hear about Peter's passing. While I was a student at Trinity (IDP, '82), I got some work-study funding, and he offered me a job in the College's Archives. "What's an archives?" I asked, and he showed me. Peter thus got me started on a most rewarding career, and I will always be grateful to him and to his memory. My condolences to the family.
