Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to learn of your loss.
I knew Peter from Liverpool HS;
I was friends with Tommy, and classmates of Dave and Ed

Peter made a lasting impression on our children in the short time he taught science at St. Luke School Elementary School in Lakewood. We will remember his kindness and talent with the children, his zest for and knowledge of God's earth, and that twinkle in his eye when he smiled. Our prayers are with you all at this heartbreaking time.

Sue, Bridget & family of Peter:Our thoughts & prayers are with you.

I am currently in the eighth grade at a school in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Mr. Knittel was my science teacher two years ago, when he was teaching at St. Margaret Mary. I was sorry to find out a bit ago that he was sick. He was really a great person and will be missed by so many. All who knew him are in my prayers.

Peter was briefly my 2 son's science teacher last year at St. Luke School. I was very sorry when he had to leave because of his illness and am further saddened now. He was very helpful to my boys and he will be missed by many.

I knew Peter in high school - spent many a happy science class with him. I hope that his family will accept my condolences and know that there are many, many people who will mourn his passing. Love to his family...

Jean,
My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad and difficult time.

I met Peter while I was working at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes (Shaker Lakes Regional Nature Center), Ohio. He was passionate about the green spaces in the Cleveland area - he will be missed by many.

To Jean (sister) and family-
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of sorrow.
Sincerely,
Sherry Roeder
(previously of North Syracuse)
