Mr. Knowles was the single most influential teacher I ever had. His encouragement and ability to see potential in people when they could not see it in themselves was transformative for me. I have many fond memories of our Reach for the Top team which he led, chats about film and more. He is largely responsible for my passion for writing and literature. I am sad he is gone but grateful for his impact on my life, and through me many others.
