Not sure what to say?

As a member of the Toms River East class of 1996, I'm sure I can speak on behalf of all my classmates, to say that Mr. Kohl was a wonderful, inspirational, and kind man. I will forever remember the speech he gave on our graduation day, on how we all (including him) grew up together. He started as principal when we were freshman, and saw us through senior year, before deciding to retire. We all loved him, and he will always stand out as one of teachers/faculty that I will never forget. My...

I am among the many fortunate to have my life enriched by Pete Kohl.
I was a student at TR East, and Pete's presence there was meaningful as he wanted all to reach their potential.

Pete's demeanor was always upbeat, and he was a gentleman at all times.

He was kind, considerate, patient, encouraging, and optimistic.
In short, Pete was selfless. A life well lived.

My condolences to Pat, Andrea, and Corrine.

Having served as a teacher/football coach at TR East from 1985-97, I feel so very fortunate to have known Pete. Not only was Pete an exceptional leader, he was always positive, upbeat, supportive and caring about those who worked under his supervision. I will always remember his genuine smile, hearty laugh and powerful handshake. He truly touched all of us who knew him!!

MY DEAR PETE..NEVER, EVER SHALL I FORGET YOU AND OUR PAST LIVES AND FUN! YOUR FIGHT FOR LIFE IS, TO ME, INSPIRATIONAL. MANY THANKS..g.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Mr. Kohl when I was a student at TRHSE. Although I graduated in 1992, I still have a note that he wrote to me on a leadership weekend in 1990. He truly inspired me to always believe in myself and my abilities - I refer to that note sometimes when I want to remember that Mr. Kohl believed in me, too.

I will always remember his wisdom, his guidance, his love of his family, and his dedication to his school. He will be missed, and I will never...

Our condolences and prayers go out to your family.
