Not sure what to say?

I am reading this for the first time and saddened. Even though I hadn't seen Peter in 37 years, I'll never forget the time Pete booked the Brown Jazz Ensemble to play at his hometown of Malone. We all made the trek to upstate NY and gave a great concert at his high school, and we all went out afterward to the Snowy Owl. Such a fun time and a fond memory. RIP Peter.

To the Kriff family, my sincerest condolences on your huge loss. May God grant you the extra strength and courage you will need at this very difficult time and going forward. Peter and you are in my prayers.

Deepest Condolences Bouquet

Peter was a wonderful friend and an amazing drummer. I will think of him fondly whenever I pick up my bass.

I just heard the sad news of Peter's passing. Peter was an absolute gentleman and a consummate musician. It was a privilege to have known him. I send my sincerest condolences to his immediate family and to Leslie, Larry, and Trudy.

Peter always had a great smile and enjoyed life to the fullest. He certainly enjoyed playing music. RIP! Toni Newman

I met Peter back in the '80s when we both free-lanced and did work for David Robinson. We had so many laughs together. He was a wonderful guy. I wish him so much joy on his new Journey.

I grew up with Peter in Malone. Lived right up the street from him on Elm Street. Played in the high school band with him and just generally enjoyed his company whenever I spent time with him for anything. Pete will be sadly missed. He had a fantastic sense of humor, was smart as a whip and most importantly was a great guy and immensely talented in many, many areas. So very sad to hear he's no longer with us, but I'm sure his legacy will live on.

Robyn, I had no idea. My heartfelt sympathies to you and yours. The song never dies.....
