Not sure what to say?

Danbury High School Yearbook says, Good nature will always win the heart. He was known as the perennial promotor. Very prominent in activities - Student Council, Home Room Representative, Debate Society, Track, Drama, etc., etc. Very friendly. Everyone's loyal true friend. I have been reflecting on the hundreds of daily experiences of our high school years. I think he is gathering the deceased members of our class for our 55th reunion. Warm regards.

Our deepest condolences to the Lasher family. Peter was always there for us when we were first married. His kindness and humor will always be with us. He will be truly missed.

My deepest condolences to the family. Peter was a kind and caring person. He will be missed.

Peter was one of the sweetest people around. Deepst condolences to Nancy and the family. A sad loss.

Our deepest sympathy to the Lasher family.

I will always remember Mr. Lasher's infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor. Mr. and Mrs. Lasher, David, Beth and Andrew - you opened your home to a group of young Naval Academy midshipmen years ago - and gave us so many lasting and cherished memories - thank you and God Bless. We were all lucky to have had such a great man as Mr. Lasher in our lives during those formative years. He was a mentor and confidant - and I will miss him deeply. From one of the 23rd Co. boys from USNA '90.

Peter and Nancy were greatly generous to me, the first, and other midshipmen to follow, opening their home and at least for me, treating me as an extra son. Having parents away from home was a great gift to have away from home. Fond memories.

To the Lasher and Rotello families: I am so sorry for your loss. May you always feel close to him as you continue his example of caring and kindness.

All of us are very saddened by this. Much love to you, Nancy.
