Peter was my cousin, unfortunately we only kept in touch intermittently and it has been awhile since we last got together. The Leonard-Kanevsky family was an unusual story, I thank Peter for filling in some of the gaps for me when we did meet. Condolences to Joan and family.

A celebration of Peter's life will be held on Wednesday 26th, February at 1pm. At Flinders Golf Club, 1Bass St, Flinders, 3929. Please advise the family if you are attending.

Peter continues to be an inspiration to everyone at Bank First. Our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. We are eternally grateful to Peter for the courage of his convictions and his selflessness in acting for his fellow teachers and their families. I am also personally grateful to Peter for the time he and Alan Dash have given to me as CEO of Bank First, his wise counsel and active support for the future of the Bank. A visionary man who has left a lasting legacy.

I considered Peter a friend and mentor and one of life´s true gentlemen. His integrity and commitment and family values were inspiring. I feel blessed to have known him.
