Not sure what to say?

To the Levine family,
I've been out of the hemophilia treatment business for about 30 years, and I've just learned of Dr. Levine's passing. While working with Armour Pharmaceutical Co. in the 1980's, I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Levine in both the academic and international meeting settings. I'll never forget his kindness and generosity with his time to help others. He was a true gentleman and is missed by many.

To the Levine family: Please accept my sincere condolences. Peter was a valued friend, colleague and trusted advisor over many years - particularly during the early years of our joint involvement in the National Hemophilia Foundation. He served so many of the disenfranchised well - we will miss him. Frederick R. Rickles, MD (Washington, DC)

We are saddened to hear of your loss. He dearly loved our sweet sister and through her he shared his love with all of us and we felt a part of your extended family.

The Levine Family--I am so sorry to hear of you loss. Pete always brightened up the gatherings here in Denver. Nancy Hoing

Peter has led us in deep ways to truly serve the communities he valued. Cathy, Tom, Bix and James, you and his grandchildren have been central in his life, and Deborah and I join in sending our thoughts and prayers as you celebrate his amazing life and also grieve his loss. Those of us who have been privileged to work with him have experiences to treasure, and though Deborah and I could not make it from Maine on Saturday, please know we will always honor and benefit from his life.

Cathy and boys and family-
So sorry. I've been thinking of you all and will miss Peter. Childhood memories of him and Judy are precious and silly.
Love you all,
Cousin Lisa

To the Levine Family, We are so very sorry for the loss of your father and husband and grandfather. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this hard time. God Bless,
The Walkey Family

Dear Levine Family,
Peter was a hero in my life, with enormous scientific and human insight and love for his patients and family. I met Peter in 1981 and witnessed his leadership role in bridging the "golden age" of hemophilia to the ravages of AIDS. As the Medical Director of the National Hemophilia Foundation, he was committed to making sure that patients and families had the information they needed to know about AIDS. He had the courage as a leader to urge the medical community in the...

Catherine,
I wish I could be with you during these sad times. Peter was always an inspiration to me and I enjoyed his company and complements at the monday night church suppers. My love to you and your children.
