Peter Loffredo

Of all the people I have met over some 50 years of Middletown life, Peter was among the most interesting, He was a man of compassion and integrity; with openness and wisdom he gently encouraged many around him. And as to his Creativity...the wonderful world around him was a palette.

Peter Loffredo was once the Artistic Director of the Free at Last Players, and was a good friend. I admired his direction and bountiful friendship. I loved how every play was its own masterpiece and all the stages were life itself. You are sorely missed my friend. My prayers and heart felt condolences to all his family and friends. I loved Peter. He was my friend and my teacher. He kept me grounded. We met at the Hole in the Wall theatre and stayed friends for many years. His wit, his compassion and sense of humor were my lifeline. He was one of a kind.

Hi PTA. I will so miss you my very good friend and colleague. I do not remember why I gave you the handle PTA. I guess I just like non-sequiturs. I have often felt that we who labor to create theatre art with youth are, indeed, a band of non-sequiturs.
