Not sure what to say?

I met Pete briefly at West Point, but didn't get to really know him and Mary until we went to the same church in Northern Virginia. Pete was one of the members that could be counted on to support our many projects. His presence and support were invaluable and many times his insights made the tasks much easier to accomplish. Pete's quick wit made every task fun! Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mary, their children and the extended family. May God's blessings follow you all and comfort...

Mary & family, My sincere condolences on Pete's passing. We started kindergarten together and remained classmates through high school. I've always admired Pete and have many nice memories of him and growing up together in Ladd. Our parents were best friends for as long as I can remember. My continued prayers for Pete and your family.

Barb & Lisa, I'm so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and everyone in between. If you need anything please let us know as we are just a phone call or text away. Love, Dave Sharp

Pete and I grew up together (with Pete older by a year) in Ladd IL and at Hall High School, playing baseball and football together. I always looked up to him. Even at that early age, he was a strong, loyal friend and a leader among us. My condolences to his family and many friends. God bless you, Pete.

Prayers for Pete and prayers to his family during your time of grief. Growing up in Ladd and being a grade school classmate of Pete's, brings back cherished memories. Playing basketball at Shield's garage, football at Manning's lot, and hunting rabbits around Ladd back in the day. God Bless Pete.

Mary, God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I will miss Pete's sage advice on fixing stuff, home improvement projects, talking about politics and worrying about the success of the Green Bay Packers. Pete was my fast talking roommate at West Point back in 1978 - a great friend who made my time there go by smoothly. Until we meet again - Godspeed. Scott & Mary Neal
