Peter C. MacVane

My condolences to the MacVane family. I didn't know Peter, but his mother was my 3rd grade teacher at Butler School - my favorite teacher. I remember the family car decorated with stickers of all the places they'd traveled on summer vacation. Rest in peace.

Kathy, Kelly and Ian - My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I have very fond memories of Mr. MacVane and your family from living across the street from you on Elizabeth Road for almost more than half of my life. I always admired Mr. MacVane for his work on the police department and the local community.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I always remembered Peter from his old Kiwanis Pool days. He was one of my swimming teachers and I thought of him fondly. My condolences go out to all those who loved him dearly.
