Peter Jay Mancuso, 65, died June 24, 2008 at his home in Mesa , AZ surrounded by his family. Born in Hazleton, PA, to Peter and Marion Mancuso (both deceased), he attended East Stroudsburg State College and served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was an officer in the Frackville, PA lodge of the B.P.O.E. Peter moved to Arizona with his family in 1981. He spent 45 years as a pipefitter, welder and welding instructor, and was proud of the part he had in the construction of many hospitals and landmarks in the valley. Peter is survived by Arlene, his wife of 42 years; his sons, Jeff (Joanne) and Russ; daughter, Jennifer (Brendan Keyes); 5 grandchildren, Natalie, Katie, Michael, Brady and McKenna; and sister, Melanie, all of whom feel honored that they were able to share Peter's journey through life. Peter was a gentle person who will be greatly missed, but never forgotten, as his spirit lives on in his family and friends.
